So June 2nd is the big day. It’s the day that the album is officially released and it’s the date of the art show. It’s NUTTTS.
Anyway, I finished the album today. It is fully finished. Everything. All the songs, all the editing, all the finishing. All that’s left is burning it onto the fabulous cd’s that will be on sale for $9 on saturday at the Chanhassen Rec Center from 3-6pm! Remember, $1 from each sold goes to charity!!! YAAY, GIVING!
In further news, Regina Spektors album “What We Saw from the Cheap Seats” came out tuesday and it is really good. I haven’t had the chance to listen to the back half of the album fully but the front half doesn’t disappoint and that makes me so happy. She seems to have gone back to the old Regina, the Regina from the 11:11 and Songs days and the even better, “Soviet Kitsch” days.
Soviet Kitsch was a huge inspiration in making the album that, digitally releases on June 2nd as well!!!
That’s about all I have to say about everything right now. Thanks for reading and if you’re close and have some time on your hands, stop by the Chanhassen Rec Center and buy my album!!!
